Welcome to Colour Coded – a resource for teachers and students on the science and social impact of skin colour.

Who is this site for?
The site contains six short stimulus films and a range of activities that can be used with children in years 5 and 6 within SEAL, PSHE, Citizenship and Science. In addition, we have included notes for secondary teachers who are interested in using the video materials with their students.

About the Colour Coded project
We created these video materials during a project supported by the Wellcome Trust, working with a group of young people who wrote the drama, created the music and produced the films. The videos are all available on a DVD, along with some additional features. For more information about the project itself or to request a DVD (at £10 to cover post and packing) please contact Karen.
